Our Story
Our founder, Saqib Naveed, was a young chef in the Himalayan region when he discovered this salt was much healthier than regular table salt. Upon his return to America he started importing the salt from the same source that he had used in Nepal. His interest in cooking and travel led him to think beyond his own kitchen to how he could use this special Himalayan salt with others. Himalayan Salt products are hand-mined from the foothills of the majestic Himalayas, where a pristine environment has protected a vast salt range since ancient times. Processed by hand in local villages, they provide a unique gift that offers nutrition and rejuvenation from within. This is an arrangement for any gift giving occasion, from celebrations to sympathy, for any time of year.The Himalayan salt crystal is the only one in the world that is naturally formed. It takes many years to form, always in undisturbed ground, in a cave protected from rain and snow.
